Tampa, FL-- There are 38 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Bay area, and each and every one of them are working alongside the Children's Cancer Center to provide "Fuel for Families" this November.

The “Fuel for Families” challenge will collect grocery and gas gift cards for families who struggle financially to get their children to critical medical visits, and to provide them with healthy meals while undergoing treatment, explains a release about the initiative.

St. Pete Beach – Rob Williams thought he would speak about the car show and go back home, but before the commission reached that item on the agenda, District 1 Commissioner Lorraine Huhn told fellow commissioners she thought the outdoor use in front of the Swigwam--Williams’ tavern on Corey--posed a “public safety issue”.

“It [the city allowing smokers to sit in front of the Swigwam] really isn’t working as well for the city as it is for one of the business operators,” she said.
