Tucker, the gentle Welsh Springer Spaniel who started life as a neglected kennel dog and found a loving home with St. Pete Beach residents Kathleen and Jim Johnson, has died. He was 13.

City OK's funding for Jolley Trolley

Clearwater, Florida -- The city council Thursday approved giving money for another year's operation of the Jolley Trolley

The council authorized $163,443, the same amount the trolley is requesting from the PSTA. The city's share will come from parking funds.

The Jolley Trolley also receives income from fares and advertising. Its total operating expense for the 2012-13 Fiscal Year is targeted at $614,693, according to documents filed with the city.

Local officials facing fines for not filing financial disclosures

Tampa, Florida -- Tallahassee watchdog group Integrity Florida has released its latest report detailing thousands of dollars of fines accruing for public officials in Florida who failed to file their annual financial disclosures.

According to an Intergrity Florida, 632 state and local officials will soon start facing $25/day fines, up to a $1,500 maximum.
