BELLEAIR, Florida (AP) -- A hotel on Florida's Gulf Coast had six tiny, furry guests staying on the property recently: coyote pups.
The pups were found on the grounds of the Belleview Biltmore Hotel last week. A local animal trapper collected the young canines, estimated to be about 6 weeks old, and they were taken to a local animal hospital. The mother was not found.

Officials say something likely happened to the pups' mother, because she would have kept her offspring in a den.
All are healthy and are eating dog food.
Veterinarian Don Woodman says goal is to get the pups ready to be adopted out to zoos or wildlife education centers.
