Tornado touches down in Pass-a-Grille | News

Pass-a-Grille, Florida -- Trees and power lines are down after a tornado barrelled through Pass-a-Grille Sunday evening.
The St. Pete Beach fire marshal tells 10 News that luckily, no deaths have been reported from the tornado touchdown. One woman was injured when a roof collapsed on top of her, but she is reportedly going to be fine.
We've also learned a house owned by an elderly couple had its roof torn off. The 86 and 87-year-old husband and wife plan to stay with a neighbor for Sunday night.

Progress Energy has shut down power in the area, due to the risk of downed power lines. Crews will be out Monday morning to fully survey the damage.
