Kites fly at Oldsmar City Hall | Community Spirit

You don't have to go to your local park or beach to see kites flying. Through July 1, they'll be proudly on display inside Oldsmar City Hall.

In celebration of summer, the Treasure Island Sport Kite Klub (TISKK) has donated kites to hang inside and be seen whenever City Hall is open (Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m).

The exhibit features your everyday single line kite, as well as triangular stunt kites and power kites, which are typically used while in a vehicle or on a board.

TISKK is a group of kite enthusiasts that gets together every Sunday on the beach behind the Bilmar Hotel off Gulf Boulevard in Treasure Island.
